When decorating Baby’s Room, Baby Room Curtains play an important role in more than one way. From functionality to style and design there is a lot to consider especially if you’re creating a theme
in your Baby’s Nursery Room.
For example do you want a matching valance to go with your Baby Room Curtains? Also would you want a window sheer for daytime naps or even a black out shade to keep all light/sun off baby during nap time? These ideas and more need to be considered while creating the best room for baby.
Matching Your Baby Room Curtains To The Room
Many times Baby Room Curtains are overlooked from the start, it’s only after the room is painted and decorations bought that the curtains are remembered.
And then you’ll need to match tem up with the beautiful paint job you just did.
Luckily it’s easy to do even if your room is done in a theme design because solid colored curtains and valances in soft color tones will keep within just about any theme. Just make sure to use your themes dominant color for your curtains and valance and it will look good. Or purchase matching fabric to the rest of your baby room design and simply create your own.
And don’t forget about the hardware, meaning the curtain rods and finials (the decor on the end of the rods). Those two can play a nice role in your overall Nursery Room look and feel!
Baby Room Curtains And Beyond!
As mentioned above you may want to add black out Blinds to keep light out during afternoon naps. Or add window sheers to filter light a little and keep baby’s room looking bright and fresh even while they sleep.
You can even skip baby room curtains all together and go with window panels and valances or simply use a pull down shade. There is actually a nice variety of pull down shades just for nursery rooms. They look great and fit into themes whether traditional or modern with their straight lines and various patterns and colors.
Overall though, baby room curtains are a great additon to just about every baby room.
